Bal Gangadhar Tilak was social reformer and the first popular freedom fighter of India who inculcate the need of freedom in hearts of Indians through his literary works.
He was also awarded the honorary title of "Lokmanya" and his popular quote was "Swaraj is my birthright, and I shall have it!” He was against the non-violent protest of Mahatma Gandhi in the struggle of freedom.
