Bengaluru to Ooty
This is one of the best bus journeys down south. This is only a brief and incomplete description of what to expect on this 6 hour bus ride. 

Srinagar to Udhampur
It is a 7 hour journey, which is greenery and a pollution-free environment. This bus trip a serene and calm experience. Food from the dhabas along the way add to the charm of this journey which will you miss it after the journey end. 

Delhi to Leh
The journey takes about 29 hours but it is undoubtedly worth it. The true glory of untouched topography in India and is accompanied by majestic views of monasteries and natural wonders.

Jaipur to Jaisalmer

Buses have been such a big part of the Indian culture that they have been repeatedly used in Indian cinemas. The most prominent use might be the 1972 movie Bombay to Goa starring Amitabh Bachhan, that was shot entirely based on a bus journey from Bombay (now Mumbai) to Goa. 

A film by the same name was made in 2007, again based on a bus ride from Mumbai to Goa. Another big multi starrer movie to be based on a bus tour from Mumbai to Goa is Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd. Buses and bus tours have been featured in many of the regional films as well. 

Even songs and sequences have frequently choreographed inside buses and on the top of buses. Movies like Kick, Commando and even movies from the earlier days like Nayak have great fight sequences based on buses.
