The Tonia Group imported vinifera grape varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon (one of the world's most sought-after red wine grape varieties), Chardonnay (green-skinned grapevine variety), Pinot Blanc (white wine grape), Pinot noir (red wine grape variety) and Trebbiano also known as Ugni Blanc (white grape) and commenced making sparkling and still wines. 

Today India is the home of some of the finest vineyards in the world. Indian vineries are cutting-edge in terms of technology and produce some remarkable vintages.
