The Eastern Himalayan, Indo- Burma and Western Ghats are among the 34 most biodiversity rich spots in the world and our nation is among the 17 countries which accounts for around 60 to 70 percent of the world’s biodiversity. 

All of these facts itself make it absolutely clear that India is full of varied animals including Royal Bengal Tigers, Asiatic Elephants, deer, snakes, monkeys, antelopes, foxes, wolves, pythons and many more. Similarly a varied faunal population also exists here.
