Dayanand Saraswati’s original name was Moolashankar, it was only after meeting Swami Virjanand Saraswati Moolshankar Tiwari became Swami Dayananda Saraswati.
He founded Arya Samaj in 1875 and established gurukuls to impart vedic education. Arya Samaj advocates equal justice for all irrespective of the sexes.
