Kalinga War: This war was fought between the Mauryan Empire under Ashoka and the state of Kalinga.
First & Second Battle of Tarain: This war was fought between Muhammad of Ghor against the armies of Prithviraj III.
First Battle of Panipat: This war was fought between Babur and Ibrahim Lodhi.

Kargil War: This war was the geo-political conflict which occurred at the Kargil district of Kashmir along the line of control between Indian and Pakistan.
